China is rich in oil shale resources, with technical recoverable resources of about 240 billion tons, and great industrialization potential. China's shale gas reserves are more than 30 trillion cubic meters, ranking first in the world, almost twice that of the United States. At present, the monopoly pattern of shale gas exploration and drilling is expected to change, private capital is encouraged to enter, and private special oil and gas equipment and service enterprises will begin to benefit.
Recently, the Anye 1 well deployed and implemented by the China Geological Survey in Anchang Town, Zheng'an County, Zunyi City, Guizhou Province, in the complex structural area in the south, has achieved a "four story" major breakthrough in oil and gas of Permian Qixia Formation, tight gas of Silurian niushilan formation, shale gas of Wufeng Formation Longmaxi formation and natural gas of Ordovician Baota formation. This is the first major breakthrough made in the southern complex structural area outside the Sichuan Basin in more than 60 years, opening up a new area for oil and gas exploration, which is expected to become a new industrial gas field. The research shows that with the technological progress, China's shale gas has entered a substantial commercial development stage.
