The 28th Guangzhou Expo, sponsored by Guangzhou Municipal People's government, will be held in the exhibition hall of China Import and Export Fair from August 28 to 31, 2020. Founded in 1993, Guangzhou Expo has been successfully held for 27 times, and has won the honors of "China's top ten influential exhibitions" and "China's top ten brand exhibitions".

This exhibition implements the national strategy of "the Belt and Road Initiative" and "Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Bay Area", and takes "cooperation and development" as the theme to promote complementary cooperation and win-win development. The planning area of the exhibition is 150000 square meters. There are three comprehensive exhibition areas in Guangzhou, domestic provinces and cities, and international cities. There are five professional exhibitions: Guangzhou Catering Chain Franchise Exhibition, Guangzhou Elderly Health Industry Exhibition, Guangzhou agricultural products and Food Expo, Guangzhou fresh supply chain and cold chain technology and equipment exhibition, Guangzhou international public health and epidemic prevention materials exhibition, and two special exhibitions: Taiwan commodity Expo and Guangdong poverty alleviation 。 At the same time, a series of activities will be held around the theme, such as economic and trade project signing, business invitation and negotiation, commercial procurement and ordering, special forum, government affairs and cultural exchanges, so as to promote regional economic and trade exchanges and cooperation, help to do a good job in the "six stabilities" work and implement the "six guarantees" task.
