Cebu container port project supported by South Korea
Philippine finance officials say the Export Import Bank of Korea has passed a resolution to support the construction of the Cebu container port project. Finance minister Carlos Dominguez III told reporters that the basis for Korean export credit agency to provide financing for the project is its internal rate of return. This is one of the priorities of the duterte government, which will build on 25 hectares of land. The project also includes the construction or improvement of 1450 meters of inland roads, as well as the construction of a 300 meters long sea bridge connecting the port and coastline.
