Market introduction
Sri Lanka will achieve double-digit economic growth in 2017. By 2017, the GNP had reached US $70 billion. In the next five years, the planned economy will grow at a steady rate of 8% per year. Sri Lanka's GDP will exceed US $100 billion and its per capita income will exceed US $5000. As early as 2010, Sri Lanka's government obtained $100 million loan through the Asian Development Bank to renovate the sewage treatment system in the greater Colombo region. Sri Lanka's cabinet also approved the project through a resolution. Sri Lanka's authorities said that due to Colombo's rapid expansion, the existing urban public sewage treatment system is quite old. It is reported that the whole project will cost US $116.3 million, and the ADB approved the relevant loan agreement in December last year.
The 2018 show is expected to have 250 exhibitors from 15 countries.
