Pingtan international marine tourism and Leisure Sports Fair (MTS), approved by the State Oceanic Administration and Fujian Provincial People's government, is sponsored by China Pacific Society, China Ocean Engineering Consulting Association, island research center of the State Oceanic Administration, Pingtan Comprehensive Experimental Zone Management Committee of Fujian Province, Fujian ocean and Fisheries Department, and is sponsored by the State Oceanic Administration and Fujian Provincial People's government Pingyang society marine exhibition research branch, Beijing zhongruite Exhibition Co., Ltd. and other international marine tourism and leisure sports Expo. The Expo will be held from June 22 to 24, 2018 at the former Taiwan Town Convention and Exhibition Center (Pingtan Taiwan duty free commodity market Convention and Exhibition Center) in Pingtan Australia.
In August 2016, Pingtan Island in Fujian Province was identified as the second "international tourism island" after Hainan Island by the Chinese government, and the development and construction of Pingtan Island entered a new historical stage. Pingtan is one of China's four free trade zones, the closest place to Taiwan, and an important window for Southeast China's economic, trade and cultural exchanges with Taiwan. On the basis of the success of the previous two sessions of "Pingtan International Marine Leisure Sports Expo", the Expo will increase tourism elements, highlight international and professional features, focus on building famous exhibition brands at home and abroad, help the development of Pingtan international tourism island, and promote the construction of Pingtan international marine tourism and leisure sports capital.
The Expo focuses on organizing marine tourism, boat, RV, cycling, VR + tourism and other practical and market-oriented industry exhibitors to participate in the exhibition, which is divided into three exhibition areas: marine tourism exhibition area, marine leisure and sports exhibition area, and virtual reality exhibition area. The scale of the Expo will be expanded from 13000 square meters last year to 15000 square meters.
The successful holding of the Expo will certainly promote the construction of Pingtan international tourism island and the exchanges, cooperation and development of both sides of the Taiwan Strait.

This "Marine Tourism Expo" focuses on two major themes of marine tourism and leisure sports. There will be marine tourism exhibition area, leisure sports exhibition area, virtual reality tourism + sports exhibition area and marine food exhibition area in the industrial museum.
