As the largest international automotive exhibition in central China, Wuhan International Automotive Exhibition has been expanding in scale and influence since its first session in 1995, with extensive participation from the automotive industry and strong support from all sectors of society. It has received praise and recognition from the domestic and foreign automotive industry, gradually becoming a platform for showcasing new products, exchanging high-tech, exchanging new information, and attracting investment cooperation to accelerate the development of the automotive industry.

The 26th Wuhan International Automobile Exhibition is scheduled to be held from October 29th to November 2nd, 2026 at the Wuhan International Expo Center. The Wuhan Branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Wuhan Culture and Tourism Group Co., Ltd., Wuhan New City International Expo Center Co., Ltd., Global Rongchuang Exhibition and Tourism Group Co., Ltd., Hannover Milan Exhibition (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., and Hubei Machinery Industry Federation will work together with strong support from the China Machinery Industry Federation and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Automotive Industry Branch to continuously enrich the connotation, establish individuality, and improve quality, presenting a feast of Central China's automotive industry to all sectors of society. This exhibition will fully leverage the enormous influence and radiation of Wuhan as a major central city in central China, adhering to the exhibition purpose of "promoting industrial development, providing trade opportunities, and providing market services for exhibitors", and creating a "top-level auto show in the central region".

On September 22nd, the 25th Wuhan International Automobile Exhibition successfully concluded at the Wuhan International Expo Center.

The exhibition lasted for 6 days, with an indoor and outdoor exhibition area of 140000 square meters, covering 6 exhibition halls and outdoor plazas in Wuhan International Expo Center. Sub venues were set up in Wuhan Iron and Steel Cloud Valley 606 Industrial Park and Wuhan Urban Circle (Huangshi, Ezhou, Xianning), with an area of 50000 square meters. Hundreds of car companies participated in the exhibition, and thousands of car models were exhibited. More than 20 car brands held new car release ceremonies, with over 1000 media outlets tracking and reporting. The exposure exceeded 100 million, and the highest daily number of visitors was nearly 60000. During the exhibition, according to incomplete statistics, the transaction amount was nearly 3 billion yuan.
