The 2025 Vietnam International Oil and Gas Exhibition (OGAV) is a professional exhibition in the local oil and gas industry in Vietnam. The exhibition gathers international upstream and downstream oil and gas companies and related supporting industries in the center of Vietnam's oil industry, showcasing the latest developments in the oil and gas industry.

In previous exhibitions, companies from over 10 countries and regions around the world participated, and professional visitors came from countries such as Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, the United States, the Netherlands, South Korea, and China.

In 2025, an international C-level oil and gas technology conference will be held at the exhibition, inviting numerous professional visitors and end-users to visit and negotiate, providing excellent opportunities for technical exchanges and trade cooperation for exhibitors and domestic and foreign trade buyers.

① Vietnam is one of the most active and rapidly growing economies in the ASEAN region. Vietnam's oil and gas industry is on a path of sustained growth. Currently, Vietnam's oil and gas industry is the country's largest source of foreign exchange earnings.

② Vietnam has abundant oil resources, with crude oil reserves second only to China in East Asia. Since its commissioning in 2009, the Dung Quat refinery has produced approximately 30 million tons of crude oil, meeting 30% of the country's energy needs. In addition, the oil and gas industry contributes 28-30% of Vietnam's national budget annually. Oil and gas companies from various countries are actively planning to establish business and investment opportunities in Vietnam.

③ The expansion of offshore exploration and production has brought a larger and steadily growing market for Vietnam's offshore oil and gas equipment and services. but

④ Due to the lack of equipment related to oil extraction, the scale of local oil fields is generally small. Currently, 90% of the local oil equipment relies on imports, with Chinese equipment accounting for almost 80% of its market share.

⑤ Vietnam National Petroleum Corporation is actively seeking partners to build oil and gas refineries, with a target production capacity of 1.1-1.2 million barrels per day for 2020-2025.

⑥ In 2022, Vietnam extracted 10.84 million tons of crude oil and 8.08 billion cubic meters of natural gas. Vietnam has two refineries with crude oil refining capabilities, namely Yishan Refinery and Rongju Refinery, with a designed annual processing capacity of 16.5 million tons, which can meet 70% of Vietnam's demand for refined oil products.
