The East China Import and Export Fair (referred to as "Huajie Fair") is supported by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, jointly organized by the commerce departments of 9 provinces and cities including Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Fujian, Jiangxi, Shandong, Nanjing, and Ningbo, and hosted by Shanghai Huajiao Convention and Exhibition Operation Service Co., Ltd. Since 1991, the China International Fair for Trade and Industry has been successfully held for 33 sessions. The 33rd China International Fair was held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center, with an exhibition area of 115000 square meters and a total of 5143 booths. There are four major professional themed exhibitions, including clothing and apparel exhibition, textile and fabric exhibition, household goods exhibition, decoration and gift exhibition, as well as two major professional exhibition areas: overseas exhibition area and cross-border e-commerce exhibition area. The China International Fair for Trade and Industry (CIFTIS) is one of the largest regional international economic and trade events in China, with the largest number of merchants, the widest coverage, and the highest transaction volume.
