INTRODUCTION
As one of the largest rail transit exhibitions in the southern hemisphere, AusRail is the largest railway industry event in Australia and a benchmark for mining heavy-duty technology. The exhibition radiates the entire industry chain of heavy-duty freight, urban rail upgrading, green power, etc. in the Australia New Zealand market, accurately connecting with the strong demand for major infrastructure projects, mining operation and maintenance, and low-carbon and efficient transportation solutions.
AusRAIL is held once a year and is expected to attract over 250 exhibitors and more than 10000 buyers. The exhibition area covers 15000 square meters and showcases cutting-edge technology achievements, professional training systems, and innovative solutions in the field of rail transit.
As a key fulcrum to leverage the transportation market in the southern hemisphere, the exhibition attracted well-known passenger, freight and heavy haul railway operators from the United States, Germany, Brazil, Thailand, Dubai, Türkiye and other countries at home and abroad, locomotive manufacturers, railway industry suppliers, and government and industry representatives.
At previous exhibitions, leading global companies such as Rio Tinto, FMG Mining Group, CRRC, Siemens, as well as government agencies such as the New South Wales Department of Transport and KiwiRail in New Zealand, participated.
Australia, as an important global exporter of energy and minerals, is renowned for its stable political environment, sound legal system, and superior business environment. Its east-west railway network constitutes the lifeline of mineral transportation, and the west coast faces the energy consumption hinterland of Asia directly. The unique geopolitical landscape has given rise to rigid demands for heavy-duty technology, high-temperature protection technology, and intelligent intermodal transportation systems.
In recent years, the Australian government has actively promoted national infrastructure upgrades and energy transformation, including landmark national railway network modernization plans (such as the inland railway from Melbourne to Brisbane) and urban railway expansions in state capitals (such as the Sydney Underground and the Melbourne Local Rail Tunnel). AusRAIL has become a strategic pivot for Chinese companies to deeply explore the Australian infrastructure market.
