Exhibition background:
Benefiting from the global trend of energy conservation and emission reduction, as well as the carbon emission agreement reached by the European Union, the global lithium battery market has entered a period of rapid demand development since 2018. According to Deloitte's data, from 2017 to 2020, the global demand for lithium batteries continued to rise, with an annual compound annual growth rate of 22.17%, of which the proportion of installed power batteries increased by nearly 18 percentage points. In 2020, the global demand for lithium batteries reached 279 GWh, with power batteries accounting for 54.5%.

China has the world's largest consumer market and sales of new energy vehicles. In the past five years, the demand for power batteries in the Chinese market has consistently ranked first in the world. In the "New Energy Vehicle Industry Development Plan (2021-2035)" issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in November 2020, five strategic development tasks for the future development of the new energy industry were set to further enhance the overall development pattern from the perspectives of technology, business model, and competitive landscape. With the strong support of the Chinese government for the overall development of new energy vehicles and their ecological chain, the development prospects of China's lithium battery industry are broad.
