The biopharmaceutical industry is a strategic emerging industry that is related to national economy, people's livelihood, and national security, covering multiple aspects such as the biotechnology industry, pharmaceutical industry, and biomedical engineering industry.

In recent years, guided by favorable policies, China's biopharmaceutical industry has entered a fast lane of development, with a series of new products and services providing new assistance to ensure people's lives and health. Looking at the industry, there has been a significant increase in R&D investment across the entire industry, with thousands of new drugs entering clinical trials and hundreds of new drugs conducting international multicenter clinical trials. The number of approved new drugs is increasing day by day. Looking at enterprises, traditional pharmaceutical enterprises are accelerating their transformation pace, constantly laying out innovative drug research and development, and a large number of emerging biotechnology companies are gradually established and growing rapidly. These innovative entities are important forces in promoting the innovative development of biopharmaceuticals, gathering industry experts and analyzing cutting-edge developments. As of the end of 2022, there are 4120 biopharmaceutical related enterprises in Xi'an High tech Zone, and the scale of the biopharmaceutical industry has exceeded 60 billion yuan, Ranked among the top national high-tech zones in the central and western regions. The China (Xi'an) Biomedical and Technical Equipment Exhibition, hosted by the Airport New City Management Committee of Xixian New Area in Shaanxi Province and organized by Zhongkai International Exhibition (Beijing) Co., Ltd., will be held at the Xi'an Airport Convention and Exhibition Center from April 25th to 27th, 2024. The exhibition will continue to adhere to the development concept of openness, innovation, cooperation, and win-win, continuously explore and break through the innovation of biopharmaceutical technology and industry, promote the development of the medical device industry, and create an innovative leader in China's biopharmaceutical industry.
