The development of energy storage technology has become the key to achieving sustainable energy transformation. Whether it is solar energy, wind energy, or other renewable energy sources, the energy they generate often has intermittency and instability, especially when facing night or no wind conditions. This requires the support of energy storage technology to store energy when needed and release energy during peak demand.

In recent years, with the support of a series of national policies, China's energy storage industry has developed rapidly. Among them, the Guiding Opinions on New Energy Storage also pointed out the development goals and directions of energy storage, with installed capacity approaching 10 times the current scale by 2025, boosting industry confidence; On August 21, 2022, the Henan Development and Reform Commission officially issued the Implementation Plan for New Energy Storage in Henan Province during the 14th Five Year Plan period. The plan specifies the development goals for new energy storage in Henan Province: to achieve an installed capacity of 5 million kilowatts of new energy storage by 2025, strive to reach 6 million kilowatts, and achieve comprehensive market-oriented development of new energy storage by 2030.
