Qingdao West Coast new area is the Ninth National New Area approved by the State Council. It is located in the blue economic zone of Shandong Peninsula and the Bohai economic circle. The fourth Qingdao Industrial Expo 2022 was held in Qingdao World Expo City from August 26 to 28.
