Introduction

Melbourne Exhibition Center was founded in 1996 with an area of 30000 square meters. Its metal blade entrance has become one of the most iconic buildings in Melbourne.

Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Center is located in the suburb of Yala South Wharf in Victoria District, Australia. The venue is operated by Melbourne Convention and Exhibition trust. Melbourne Exhibition Center officially opened on February 16, 1996, known as "Jeff's cabin". It has a 30000 square meter pillar free space, making it the largest exhibition center in the southern hemisphere. It can hold n large-scale exhibitions every year.
The design of Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Center was started by Marshall architects in the early 1990s, which is the largest company in charge of architecture in Melbourne, with its own characteristic "blade" entrance. In 1998, a pedestrian overpass was built to build a parallel Spencer Street bridge between the exhibition centers. The building is like a long shed with separate walls (each worth 250000 yuan). This makes the space from the largest 30000 square meters of 360 meters wide 84 meters to the smallest 3000 square meters of space, choose a single roll with a length ratio of about 2.5:1 width. In addition to the exhibition space, the building has a basement that can hold 1000 cars. The construction cost of Melbourne Exhibition Center is much higher than that of Sydney exhibition hall.
