Pragati Maidan, a comprehensive exhibition complex, is located in the center of New Delhi, covering an area of 100000 square meters. It is divided into six exhibition halls, each of which is divided into multiple exhibition halls with modern design. The exhibition center has held many international and national exhibitions.

The general layout and project design of Maidan Exhibition Center in New Delhi was handled by architect Raz rival, who built the National Pavilion. It was completed in March 1972. In November of the same year, Indira Gandhi, then prime minister, attended the opening ceremony: the international trade fair was on the eve of Asia 72. The pavilion and events celebrate 25 years of India's independence.

Maidan Exhibition Center in New Delhi is a huge building complex. It covers an area of more than 150 mu and spreads many lawns. Overlooking the historic castle, it represents gate 1 instead. Complex houses many pavilions like the Nehru Pavilion, the national defense Pavilion, the Indira Pavilion, and the Indian Pavilion in Moyang. It has many different buildings, which are built in various shapes and sizes. It also has an auditorium where rock shows and plays are often held. There are various shuttle services. The Maidan Exhibition Center in New Delhi is shaped like a cinema called shakuntalam, which is popular with college students and can book relatively cheap tickets. It contains a complex 18 exhibition halls, some buildings, restaurants, performance spaces and compounds, including the headquarters of the Indian Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO), and more than 70 national and international exhibitions, once a year, with the largest Indian international trade exhibition which attracted more than 10000 exhibitors and more than 300000 visitors.
