McCormick Convention and Exhibition Center is located in the center of Chicago, USA. The total area of the Convention and Exhibition Center is 220000 square meters, including 112 conference halls which can hold 10000 people. The exhibition halls are connected by the Grand Concourse leisure square, which covers an area of 50,00 square meters. There are many retail stores and various leisure facilities inside. The North Hall covers an area of more than 70000 square meters and can be used independently or jointly with other exhibition halls. It also has 29 meeting rooms, service areas and other facilities. Lakeside center is mainly used to hold medium-sized trade fairs and exhibitions that McCormick Place Convention and exhibition center could not undertake in the past. Nanguan has 84000 square meters of exhibition area and 17000 square meters of conference area.

In 1927, Robert McCormick was a prominent member. McCormick's family McCormick harvester was a big name for him, and made headlines in the publisher's Chicago Tribune. He advocated a special lakeside Convention Center, Chicago. In 1958, nearly $35 million of facilities were built, opened in November 1960, and named the McCormick International Exhibition Center, but Robert McCormick died in 1955. The chief designer of the exhibition center is Alfred Shaw. His buildings include the Ali crown theatre, which can hold 5000 people. It is the second largest theatre in the United States.
