Xinjiang International Convention and Exhibition Center, located in Shuimogou District, Urumqi City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is a super large public building integrating conference, exhibition, business negotiation, large-scale assembly, celebration and other functions. The distant Hongguang mountain and the outer contour curve of the building form a natural continuous transition, and the building and nature are integrated and complement each other. Xinjiang International Convention and Exhibition Center is the main venue of China Eurasia Expo. From September 1 to 5, 2011, Xinjiang will hold the first China Eurasia Expo in Urumqi. Its predecessor is the successful holding of 19 sessions of "Urumqi fair". In May 2008, the project was opened to public bidding at home and abroad. Finally, Wuhan architectural design institute won the bid for the project of "the moon rises from the Tianshan Mountain".
The shape of Xinjiang International Exhibition Center is like a rising moon, taking the artistic conception of "the moon rises from the Tianshan Mountain". A pair of open steel structure "wings" will be built on both sides of Xinjiang International Convention and Exhibition Center, implying the vigorous development of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. As the venue of China Asia Europe Expo, the new Xinjiang International Convention and Exhibition Center will have an indoor area of 45000 square meters, 3000 international standard booths, 50000 square meters of outdoor booths, and an international conference center and a star hotel.

Exhibition hall scale
The indoor exhibition area of Xinjiang International Expo Center is 3 times of 15000 square meters; the total underground building area is about 17400 square meters; the total outdoor area is about 195400 square meters, and the outdoor exhibition area is 45000 square meters, more than 4 times of the outdoor exhibition area of Xinjiang International Expo Center is 965000 square meters.  　　
In addition, the first phase of the project also includes 40000 square meters of parking lot, 25000 square meters in front of the gate, and 89400 square meters of landscaping. It is 486 meters long and 130.5 meters wide. The pavilion adopts a long-span truss string with a span of 108 meters, which is the third largest span in China. The design shape of the conference center is an ellipsoid moon, and the design difficulty and personnel accommodation scale rank first among similar buildings in China.  　　
The exhibition center is equipped with 6 main exhibition halls, and the conference center can have the scale of 4000 people meeting.
