On March 15, 2004, China Foreign Trade Center signed a memorandum with Guangzhou Municipal People's government, and the foreign trade center formally obtained the operation and management right of Guangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center. At present, the foreign trade center operates and manages the two largest pavilions in Guangzhou - Pazhou Exhibition Hall of China Export Commodities Fair (Guangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center) and Liuhua Road Exhibition Hall, with a total indoor exhibition area of 250000 square meters.
Among them, the first phase of Pazhou Exhibition Hall covers an area of 414000 square meters, with a building area of 395000 square meters. There are 13 exhibition halls on the first and second floors, with a display area of about 130000 square meters and an outdoor exhibition area of 22000 square meters. It was officially put into use at the end of 2002 and is currently the largest exhibition center in Asia.
Pazhou Exhibition Hall takes the lead in implementing the price strategy of combining internal and external exhibitions in domestic well-known exhibition halls, and gives national treatment to overseas exhibitors. According to the scale and nature of the exhibition, the location of the exhibition hall and the off peak season of the exhibition period, a certain discount will be given on the basis of the benchmark quotation.
Since the 95th session in April 2004, Pazhou Exhibition Hall has been fully opened in China Export Commodities Fair, and it is held in two phases in Pazhou Exhibition Hall and Liuhua Road Exhibition Hall. In addition to the Canton Fair, the large-scale exhibitions of 50000-13000 square meters held or to be held in Pazhou Pavilion this year include international furniture exhibition, architectural decoration exhibition, lighting exhibition, international automobile exhibition, etc.; in addition, there are Guangzhou international clothing festival, national knitting and cotton fabric exhibition, South China International Machinery and raw materials exhibition, Canton Fair, printing and packaging exhibition, Guangzhou International Footwear leather industry exhibition, Asia Pacific International Rubber and plastic exhibition Industrial exhibition, international coatings, ink and adhesive exhibition, hotel equipment Supplies Expo, machinery and Equipment Manufacturing Expo, Liuhui fair, paper printing industry exhibition and other large-scale exhibitions.
The foreign trade center manages two super large exhibition halls in Guangzhou, which is unique in the whole country. Pazhou Complex
