Dalian international automobile exhibition aims at "promoting the integration of production and marketing, displaying automobile culture", and actively builds a broader platform for the cooperation, exchange and development of automobile enterprises at home and abroad. It plays a huge role in leading the growth of exhibition economy, promoting the development of automobile industry, and stimulating automobile consumption. Since the first session held in 1996, it has been highly valued and fully supported by all organizers and Dalian Municipal People's government. It is one of the auto exhibitions with the largest auto sales volume, the longest consecutive holding time, the largest number of participating vehicles and the most benefit to the people in China.
The scale of the 22nd exhibition in 2017 was 130000 square meters. Brands from 12 countries and regions, including the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Japan and South Korea, participated in the exhibition, with 1375 vehicles, 32000 people visited and purchased cars, 9260 cars ordered on site, and continued to play a leading role in automobile consumption.
