On May 14, the 13th Taiwan Strait Tourism Expo and 2017 China (Xiamen) International Leisure Tourism Expo ended successfully. Li Shihong, deputy director of the National Tourism Administration, commented that the exhibition highlighted cross-strait exchanges, improved trade level, deepened industrial cooperation, and enriched supporting activities, forming many highlights, especially the first extension of some activities to Jinmen, which complied with the internal requirements of Xiamen regional tourism cooperation and became a feature of the exhibition.  

According to statistics, the results of this Tourism Expo are gratifying: covering an area of 50000 square meters, more than 10000 businessmen from both sides of the Taiwan Strait, Hong Kong, Macao, Southeast Asia, Japan, South Korea, the United States and Europe attended the Expo, 28 provinces and cities (autonomous regions) participated in the Expo, 37 countries and regions participated in the Expo, with more than 160000 visitors, and the total amount of on-site transactions and consumption of the Expo is 120.5 million yuan (excluding the amount of agreements and contractual transactions ）, the most in history.  

Tourism institutions, travel agencies and operators, tourism equipment manufacturers, tourist attractions, hotels and resorts, smart tourism, leisure tourism, rural tourism, hot spring tourism and health resort, tourism finance and postal communication enterprises, aviation and cruise companies, car rental companies and self driving tour clubs, tourism real estate and golf course and other tourism industries in four places on both sides of the Straits Tourism service agencies.
