As the only member of UPI and IAEM in China, China International Exhibition Center actively participates in various activities of the international exhibition industry and strives to promote the internationalization and standardization of China's exhibition industry.
Since its establishment in 1985, China International Exhibition Center has held more than 1000 exhibitions of various types, covering an area of more than 11 million square meters, and promoting more than 500 billion yuan of trade volume at home and abroad.  
After nearly 20 years of cultivation and development, China International Exhibition Center now holds more than 100 kinds of exhibitions every year, with an exhibition area of more than 1 million square meters. Most of these exhibitions have great influence at home and abroad, including the organic bed exhibition, textile machinery exhibition, metallurgy, casting, forging and industrial furnace exhibition, which are the top four international professional exhibitions; printing technology exhibition, machine tool exhibition, metallurgy, casting, forging and industrial furnace exhibition, which are recognized by the International Exposition alliance; automobile exhibition, chemical industry exhibition, telecommunication exhibition, and calculation exhibition, which are well-known in the international professional circles As a comprehensive exhibition, Beijing International Expo and Asia Pacific Expo are well-known. At present, there are 31 regular exhibitions listed in the center, most of which are 2 years, and some of them are 1 year, 3 years or 4 years. Among them, the telecommunication exhibition is known as "the most popular exhibition in the world"; the automobile exhibition and the first philatelic exhibition are very popular in the capital, and the audience is very enthusiastic. President Jiang Zemin and other party and state leaders visited the auto show; President of the Swiss Confederation, President of France and other foreign dignitaries also visited the textile machinery exhibition and logistics exhibition, fully reflecting the role and influence of these exhibitions. At the same time of consolidating regular exhibitions, the exhibition center has cultivated and established some famous brand exhibitions by transplanting foreign famous brand exhibitions and jointly holding exhibitions, which not only opened up exhibition sources, but also increased profits.
